The Pounder-Koné Art Space is a place where visual artists, writers, and musicians can exercise their right to be creative. We are an art salon where writers can meet artists, artists can meet musicians and so on; in effect a creative potboiler, where our normally-segregated disciplines may come together. Our focus is on the visual arts. Introducing artists from the Diaspora as well as Angelino artists is a large part of our program. We also wish, through live performances in an intimate setting, to introduce new music and musicians and spoken-word performers.
