The Conference Room Gallery is more about the journey and the final result rather than relying solely upon academia. Art is a journey not only for the artist but the viewer and patron as well. It is that a person will experience uncountable images either real or conjured and how each individual reacts to their given situation. As do artists, people grow. It's simple and as you grow you also either expand your view or contract your view and with that you are able to decide for yourself as to what is aesthetically pleasing, moves you or allows you to once again react to the given situation. It's with our consciousness and our decisions that build our foundation for appreciating art or anything else that matters to someone. Our goal is to strip down stereotypes, breaking them down to real reasons. We don't care if the artist is self-taught or they have a phd. We only care about what and how the artists choose to present themselves to the world. It is their responsibility as well as the appreciator to be able to communicate without prejudice.
