Downtown Art Gallery, located near Downtown Gallery Row, and part of the monthly Downtown Art Walk, proudly opened its doors in October 2004 with a vision to revive and awake the lost art of traditional print making, and educate collectors about not only its visceral emotional quality, but its technically impressive and arduous process that's remained virtually unchanged since the time of Durer and Rembrandt. In addition, DAG exhibits the works of emerging and mid-career painters and print-makers. We are also committed to the development of cultural and aesthetic community of downtown Los Angeles, and faithful in the creation and development of a distinctive community outreach program for inner city youth and young adults.
