Abacot Gallery opened in the summer of 2007. It was started by three artists with a shared interest and passion for art. With tons of hard work and help from a lot of wonderful people they were able to open. The first exhibition was on June 29 appropriately called Suku (meaning family in Finish) because of the support and help from family and friends. Abacot Gallery strives to bring something new, comfortably finding its home in the LA art scene. With hundreds of galleries in the city, Abacot Gallery distinguishes itself by showcasing contemporary art that is fresh and well done. The artists that show at the gallery are talented, they have a passion for what they do and a strong voice. The goal of Abacot is not only to bring a meaningful experience to art watchers but to also provide a unique opportunity to new art buyers as well serious collectors
